Mehdi,
Is this a R5 Domino version or R4? If R5, do you have Archive or Circular
Transaction Logging enabled? The Backup/Archive client will be good for your
OS and application files (binary files) but you will need the TDP for Domino
to achieve online backups of your mailboxes and templates as well as
archiving the Transaction Logs. A Selective backup with the TDP agent would
be ok if you have the capacity to handle daily fulls. Restore times will be
much faster utilizing daily fulls but you may have more manual work if you
need to restore certain mail messages from the restored database to an
existing database.
Hope this helps!

Subject: Domino Backup
We just got a Domino server installed on a WIN2K server.....What is a good
backup practice. Can we just do a Selective backup daily and will it be
enough for recovery?
Thanks
