Before stating my question, I will briefly,
describe our environment. We have a shark,
few oracle servers and a AIX TSM server
which connects to a robotic 3494 library
with four 3590E tape drives.

We would like to backup our oracle
databases using rman, tsm, Tivoli Data
Protection for Oracle software and do
lanfree backups. Has anyone done
this type configuration? I am
concern with how luns get assigned
and deassigned and the management of
volumes groups on the target luns.

Anyway, I would like to know if someone
has implemented this and how reliable and
difficult it is to install and maintain.
