Hi,

we are using one tsm server 5.1.1.6 on w2k and one storage client 5.1.1.6,
both with the tsm device driver 5.1.1.6 to
directly attach one 3590 drive (autoloader with 10 tapes).
There are qlogic 2200 fc-adapters in both machines to attach the 3590 drive
and some ESS disks

After installing and configuring the san client, the first lanfree backup
works
well (105 GB in 7 hours, 500.000. files), but then there are messages in
tsm server like..

                       cannot handle  the block size needed to use the
volume.

... and the lanfree backup did not work anymore. In case of restore (now
over lan because lanfree did not work) there are these failure messages in
tsm server actlog:


ANR0542W       Retrieve or restore failed for session
               session number for node node name (client
               platform) - storage media inaccessible.

and all files saved lanfree are not accessible.


any ideas ot this problem ?  Frame Size on both qlogic adapters is 2048.
