Justin,

I am using the AFS (dsmafs) client on an AIX box(my AFS server) to backup
AFS space.

Make one of your AIX boxes as an AFS client.
Install the TSM Backup Archive Client forAFS/DFS on that machine.

Using this client you can take backup of your AFS space from this AIX box
just like any other client.

Hope this helps.

OS AIX5.1
TSM server 4.2.2 and TSM server 5.1
Clients Sol2.7 and sol2.8

Need to backup AFS volumes to TSM ? Is there any config that needs to be
done on TSM Server other
than register the node so that the AFS client can connect to the TSM sever.

My understanding is that the AFS clients use the "butc" on the clients
machines to send
data to the TSM server to store the data to TSM.

So if any one has set up this config. Help & Tips would be a good
thing....

like any patches or website to go and get fixes?????
Thanks
