Hi,

Am attempting to  restore raw lv's to another node on AIX 4.3.3.
I have run

set access backup "*" node
set access backup "/*" node
set access backup "/*/*" node

which seem to be the commands from the help files but it says :-

dsmc q image -FROMNode=tc_spnode01e /dev/sybdatacp1
ANS1302E No objects on server match query

If i run same command on node where backup taken it works

I think the below extract suggests you can only allow access to image
backups of filesystems as it refers to the fs name not the /dev/xx file as
used in backup:-

        Task
                Give user serena at node_5 authority to restore all images
of the file
                space mounted on directory /home/devel/proja.
                Command: set acc backup "home/devel/proja/*/*" node_5 serena


Has anyone got any ideas?
