I have an existing node in the STANDARD policy domain and STANDARD mgmt

We need several of the Oracle DB files to have different file retention
than STANDARD mgmt class.

Easiest may be to define a new management class in the current policy
domain and associate the Oracle DB files with the new management class
(in your client configuration, with an "Include" statement). Perhaps
trivial, but defining a new management class with longer retention
policies will cause directory objects to also be kept longer.

A node belongs to a policy domain, so if you wanted a totally separate
backup of the Oracle DB via a separate policy domain, you would need to
define another *SM node for the client. Separate backups (probably
separate *SM installs) would be made from the client. This sounds like
overkill, but maybe you have a reason?
