Hi all

Last Friday one of my TSM servers crashed since the recovery log filled, so
obviously it has not performed any backusp over the last few days. Since
the recovery log in question is at its max capacity, I tried to restore the
database to its last known good config (The DB backup is stored offsite on
a separate DR tsm server). However, just as the db restore is set to be
completed, I get the following...

ANR8340I SERVER volume DRPADSM00.DBB.030874432 mounted
ANR9999D pvrserv.c(607): Error positioning SERVER volume
DRPADSM00.DBB.030874432 to 1:0
ANR9999D icrest.c(2070): Rc=30 reading header record.
ANR2032E RESTORE DB: Command failed - internal server error detected.

When I try and do a "dmsserv restore db todate=-* " It is unable to find db
information for the date spedified even though the DB backups are scheduled
to be deleted after 3 days.

I know that I have an older version of TSM (TSM Server 3.7.4 on WinNT4
SP6a) but I have not upgraded since this environment is to be decomisioned
in 3 months.

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanking in advance
