you actually associate a node to a backupset while creating one

*generate backupset node-name backupset-name file-systemname*

do an help generate backupset, there is a way to have TSM use a volume you
specify while creating a backupset


so when it is done, do a

dsmadmc> q volhist t=backupset  [or]
dsmadmc> q backupset

both the commands above will list the backupset name and the volumes
associated with it
