WNT TSM Client reinstall hang

Got a strange situation.

An NT box lunched one of its hard-drives/partitions.  Unfortunately, it
happens to be the partition that had the TSM client on it (not C:).

Now, everytime we try to reinstall the client, it hangs on
TSM_UPGRADE_PATH !

Ran REGCLEAN.

Suggestions ?
