AW: ODBC-connection to TSM

Hi Andy,

my ODBC driver version is 4.2.2 and meanwhile I tried it
with the immemorial "msqry32.exe" and this works fine but
it's not the preferred tool. So do you think I should downgrade
the build of perl to 632?

I am not certain what you mean by:
 
   TSM Client: V3,R3,L1.20
 
because there is no 3.3.1.20 client. But the important thing to note is,
if you are running a version 3.x ODBC driver, then you are running at an
unsupported version, and need to upgrade.
 
If your server is 4.1, then the TSM 4.2.2 ODBC driver is supported with
4.1. You should try this version of the ODBC driver, as a significant
number of changes have gone in to allow it to work with other
applications. When I use the 4.2.2 version of the driver, then I can
successfully run the program that Gerhard provided. Note: I am using 5.6.1
build 632 of Perl.
