Of course it depends...   :-)
But, in general, strategy "3" is your best choice
for normal production servers. For busy servers,
your frequency on the full, incremental, and archivelogs
backups may want to be increased.

Also, keep in mind that the TDP for Domino
"INCREMENTAL" command does not look at the
data and time stamp on the file. For non-logged databases,
it uses the internal date and time stamps (meta and data)
that Domino maintains within the database file itself.
For logged databases, it simply checks the database
instance ID (DBIID).

strategies in the User's Guide, Chapter 1,
under "Backup Strategy Considerations".
