You cannot change the allocated to parameter. It is my understanding
this is a dynamic value based upon which library client has the drive
allocated to it at any given time.

Subject: Question about properties for DLT drive

When I issue a "query drive f=d" command, I get the following result for
one
of my drives.

Library Name: AUTOLIB
Drive Name: DRIVE06
Device Type: DLT
On-Line: Yes
Device: /dev/rmt/6mt
Element: 4
Allocated to:
Last Update by (administrator): ADMIN
Last Update Date/Time: 03/20/02 22:37:30
Cleaning Frequency (Gigabytes/ASNEEDED/NONE): ASNEEDED

Can anyone tell me what the "Allocated to" property does, and how can
you
modify it's value? I don't see this information in the admin guide or in
the
output of "help update drive" or help "q drive".

Thanks in advance,

Curtis Stewart
