Thanks so much, I have increased the CommTimeout and eve although it sits at
sendw it seems to creating the containers as the filesystems are now
increasing.

Droped db2 database restore may take a long time to create db2 conteiners if
they are not at
rowdevice
increase CommTimeOut parameter to 10000 and try again.

It is 42 gigs and yes I did drop the database before the restore.

how GB is your db2 database size?
are you drop the database before restore

The CommTimeOut was initially set to 300, when I had the problem I increased
it to 600, but still had no joy.

Hi TSMers!

Urgent..I am having problems restoring a SAP R/3 DB2 database from a backup
into tsm. It hangs at sendw for a while and finally bombs out without doing
the restore..

PLEASE HELP...
