Hi,

Environment:
we have 2 servers TSM (TSMSCI and TSMSEC) running on 2 aix machines with
aix 5.1.0.0-ML01 (32bits) and using 2 libraries 3584 with LTO SCSI drives.
TSM server version is 4.2.2.4. The 2 machines have a dedicated network
to communicate and use ethernet 100 full duplex.

Problem Description:
We have 2 servers: TSMSEC AND TSMSCI. We use connections "server to
server" to copy the storage pool(the copy pool of TSMSEC are on TSMSCI
and the copy pool of TSMSCI are on TSMSEC).
We want to test the restore of a storage pool. We have destroyed a test
stg and then started the restore. No problem with the integrity of the
datas but the performances are very bad. For a 6GB stg pool the duration
of the restore is 6 hours!!!! But the backup stg pool takes only 17
minutes!!!
In production, we take a backup of 16GB per day and we keep 28 versions thus
the volume total of data to restore is 450 GB.It would be necessary 22.5
days for restoring the full system!!!!!!! It is not acceptable.

Has someone experimented the same problem ???
