also check on the "cleanup archdir" command...
it will get rid of all those extra entries

CLEAN ARCHDIR <node_name> {DELETEDUPLICATES | SHOWSTATS | RESETDESCR |
1DELETDIRS } [FORMAT=S|D] [WAIT=NO|YES]
