What exactly is your question? After the changes you describe below, yes the
files were rebound to the new management class and then eventually back to
the standard. As a result, files were possibly expired (permanently deleted)
that might not have been otherwise. But without any details as to what
either management class settings were (vere, verd, rete, reto) before and
after (standard vs 30x1x30, whatever that means), it's impossible to
speculate on what may or may not have been lost. Perhaps nothing at all!

The inactives should be there as you'd expect, provided the 30x1x30
management class you rebound them to temporarily didn't have lower retention
settings then the standard management class. Again what is the
command/output you're running that shows the inactives aren't there and what
are you expecting? We need more info if you want any specific help/input..
