TDP for Exchange incremental failure

Hi *SM-ers!
I have an Exchange server with TDP for Exchange 2.2 which returned the
following error last night:

Backup of storage group Directory failed.
Unable to perform an incremental backup because a required Microsoft
Exchange database log file could not be found.

Four days ago, the last full backup ran ok and the two incrementals
afterwards (three days ago and the day before yesterday) ran fine too.
There is no other backups software (that could have removed the transaction
logs) running on this machine.
Does anybody know what happened here?
