Hi all once again!

More data related to the Db2 <--> TSM problem.

I hope this helps.

1.-

TSM version: 5.1
S.O. :  4.3.3. y
DB2 : 7.01

Host: crtpxd

The online backup has worked fine for about 7 days. Then. It has crashed
returning the following error.

db2 => backup db TJD online use adsm
SQL2062N  An error occurred while accessing media
"/db2/db2TJD/sqllib/adsm/libtadsm.a".  Reason code: "610".



2.- My dsmclientV3.cat files

I've tried deinstalling TSM and installig version 4.2 --> Error persists
And

After upgrading to 5.1. --> Error persists

Dear all!


Our db2 v7.1 online backups on AIX have been working succesfully for 7 days,
but now, we get the following error:

db2 => backup db swp online use adsm
SQL2062N  An error occurred while accessing media
"/db2/db2tjd/sqllib/adsm/libtadsm.a".  Reason code: "610".

The problem doesn't seem to be due to
unavailabilty of the dsmclientV3.cat file (everythig had worked fine for
seven days,
and the specified linked file exist).

Following, the explanation of this API error message

Explanation: The system is unable to open the message txt file
     (dscameng.txt or dsmclientV3.cat for AIX). On the AS/400 platform this
file is QANSAPI/QAANSAMENG(TXT).

     System Action: The system returns to the calling procedure.

     User Response: Verify that the dscameng.txt file is in the directory
pointed to by DSMI_DIR. For AIX, verify that the dsmclientV3.cat file has a
symbolic link /usr/lib/nls/msg/<locale>/dsmclientV3.cat .
