Hi ,
in a first aproach, I changed the following settings :
data-source-server :
copy-pool device-class (server device class) : mount-limit set to
'2'
client-settings for client-node (node-type 0 server) : mount-limit
set to '2'
data-target-server :
device class for primary pool where data goes in : mount-limit
set to 'drives' (==> max = 8)
Then I tried to do to stg_pool-backups in parallel ( they should go to the
same copy_pool) and I got the following error :
06/12/02 07:49:13 ANR8340I SERVER volume BC0ADSM1.BFS.023860953 mounted.
06/12/02 07:49:13 ANR1340I Scratch volume BC0ADSM1.BFS.023860953 is now
defined in storage pool COPY_POOL.

aborted current transaction; reason: Item not available.

FAILURE at 07:49:29.
06/12/02 07:49:29 ANR1214I Backup of primary storage pool BACKUP_VMS_DISK to
copy storage pool COPY_POOL has ended. Files Backed Up: 0, Bytes Backed Up:
0, Unreadable Files: 0, Unreadable Bytes: 0.
For me it looks as if both backups want to write to the same tape ( because
collocation on copy_pool is 'off' ? ), and
because both requests come from the same "client"-node the second request is
refused. On target server there are no messages.
Is there something mis-defined or what's wrong ?
Thanks for help
Christoph
