Shutting down TSM on AIX

Subject:	Shutting down TSM on AIX

What is the preferred method of shutting down the TSM server on a AIX
box when AIX is being rebooted?  Is a kill command ok or is there a
kinder way to shutdown TSM without using dsmadmc?
