Hi,

18N2 Microcode was a killer.... botched up quite a few of our tapes .. we thought we have lost thousands of files ... ( audit vol marked them as bad ). ( before backup copypool could be done.)

Finally we upgraded to 22U0 and all is fine.

By the way, IBM Tucson did data recovery for us and we ended up losing only one or two files per tape instead of thousands ... , free of cost ofcourse.

Three cheers for IBM !!!
