Hi TSM-friends,
we use in our environment TSM-Server 4.1, TSM-Client-api 4.2.1 and
TivoliDataProtectAgent for Informix 4.1.3 !
The backup of our Informix-9.30-databases and logical logs are working
properly. But we have a problem in deleting the TSM-backup-objects. We
use the Informix-utility onsmsync; this utility uses the
BSADeleteObject-function of the XBSA-API. This is the correct
X-OPEN-Standard. But in TSM this works only for archive objects, not for
backup objects. Other storage manager handle this differently, so
Informix couldn't change their utility.
So, my question: has everyone a new, changed version of TDP-Agent for
Informix in successfully use or has a idea, how we can delete old
backup-objects without rename or delete the TSM-filespace ?
