Hi

If all slots are used, you have a problem, as the first two slots are =
used
by diagnostic cartridge and cleaning cartridge. Theese are not seen by =
TSM.

Hi *SM-ers!
I checked my 3584 library through the IBM 3584 UltraScalable Tape =
Library
Specialist and I saw something strange.
If I select the Physical Library option it shows: Total storage slots: =
253
and Empty storage slots: 2. All storage slots are actually filled!
When I click on Total storage slots I see that it list all slots, =
stating
at
Column 1, Row 2 up to Column 8, Row 44.
I then checked the Logical library configuration (Settings, Library
Configuration). It
shows the following settings:

Slot physical location - START Frame 1 Column 1 Row 2
Slot physical location - END Frame 1 Column 8 Row 44

Maybe that's the cause? Is this setting ok? If not, what should it be =
and
how do I change it?
