You can schedule SQL to create backups of your databases to a directory before
TSM starts it backup (TSM can pick up the backup files). You can then restore
the databases into a fresh copy of SQL if needed. Check the Microsoft site for
procedures for this (restore from backup). This worked fine (abit longer to
restore) in your DR testing.
We dont use TDP for SQL, again $$$ is a factor...
