If you are using a SAN DATa Gateway to bridge the gap between your FC and
SCSI drives then that might be the bottle neck. So it is worth checking it
out.

Where is the data coming from? During the testing I did on LTO vs. SDLT I
observed similar behavior. I concluded that the RAID5 set containing my
disk storage pools was the bottleneck.
