Niklas,

A few things to try... make sure you are at the latest TSM API.
I have seen some protocol errors caused by the TSM API level.

I have also seen this when there is no data to back up.
And if the TSM API and TDP for SQL did not change, and it
just started happening yesterday with no other system changes,
it is probably the nature of the data that is causing the problem.
Is it ALL databases or just a certain database?
What does the TDP SQL log report as a problem?

If it continues to happen, I would recommend calling IBM Service.
A TDP and API trace would help diagose the problem.
