Hello Ya'all
I am trying to do a bare metal restore of an IRIX 6.5 tsm 4.2 client.
I have booted off the irix install cd, and tftp'd over the dsmc module, but
when I run dsmc I get:
2109:dsmc: rld: Fatal Error: Cannot Successfully map soname 'libdm.so'
under any of the filenames
/usr/lib32/libdm.so:/usr/lib32/internal/libdm.so:/lib32/libdm.so:/opt/lib32/
libdm.so:/usr/lib32/libdm.so.1:/usr/lib32/internal/libdm.so.1:/lib32/libdm.s
o.1:
I have been told that on Irix 6.5 the libdm.so libraries are a part of the
eoe.sw.dmi package (HSM), which it appearently needs, but which are not
available.
I was able to boot of the cdrom and run dsmc with my 6.2 irix client....
QUESTION: Has anyone done what I am trying to do on a 6.5 client??? Any
input?
THanks,
Keith
