Hint 1: Are you using PASSWORDAccess Generate?
Hint 2: I had the same error trying to start onbar when logged as ordinary
user and switched to root using "su". The problem disappeared when "su -"
was used.
My environment: TSM server 4.1.4.1, TSM client 4.1.3, DPI v4.1, IDS 7.31UC4

Hi TSMrs,

Problem regarding  "signon authentication" error.

When we are trying to take database backup  from Informix Onbar on TSM 3.7
level 2.0
getting error in dsmerror.log file like


12/12/01   19:38:06 sessOpen: Error 137 from signon authentication.
12/12/01   19:38:06 ANS1029E Communications have been dropped.
12/12/01   19:39:10 sessOpen: Error 137 from signon authentication.

in database log file its showing XBSA error.

I have checked and compared all option,sys files with other clients to TSM.
Is anybody got this error before?do I require any extra things.

please need help.
