I am not sure I completely understand your question. Rather than Tivoli
software that supports ESS, my response is tailored to Tivoli software
that exploits ESS. There is a product in the field called "IBM TDP for ESS
Databases" that exploits the ESS functionality (such as flashcopy) to
perform database backup. With V1.2, this solution is available for Oracle
and DB2 UDB databases. Hope this helps clarify things for you.
