Hi together,
I told our Linux-gurus to use the export LANG-Parm, but it doesnt work...
root@p25002t0:/var/adm > export LANG=en_US
root@p25002t0:/var/adm > echo $LANG
en_US
root@p25002t0:/var/adm >
After backup the errorlog still contains messages like this:

'/usr/share/doc/sdb/de/html/keylist.FRANZÖSISCH.txt' contains unrecognized
symbols for current locale, skipping...
Im not sure...
Why should it solve the problem with german symbols by setting LANG=en_US?
Any ideas?
Perhaps I should open a problem at IBM/Tivoli?
