Keith,
What does your include/exclude list have set ?
I'm not an NT wizard, but I believe dll(s) would fall under the system type
files that I would want to exlcude, like pagefile.sys ..
I exclude my Winnt <dir> and Program Files <dir>
If I am not mistaken TSM will back up any file that has been accessed >
(by date) -since dll(s) are called by apps their time/date/stamp changes..
For instance if I have fileA that has not changed in 2 weeks and I touch it
the date will change when I do an ls -al . < TSM will back this file up @
backup time.
That's my 2 cents (probably all it's worth)
: = )

Hello,
It seems the new 4.2 client backs up the win2000 system dll's constantly
even though they have not changed.... any way around this?
