I also upgraded as per the instructions, Commit no, save replaced files yes.
The q status still shows 4.2.1.0, not 4.2.1.6 as I thought it should. TSM
Support is looking into this now.

I brought the server up at almost the time backup disk was supposed to kick
off but noticed no processes running. I did a quick check of the log and saw
these messages. Looks like maybe things tried to kick off before the server
was truly available for operations. (SEE FIRST LINE BELOW)

The volumes did finally come online but it was quite disturbing at first
sight. I manually kicked of backup disk and it is processing now. We'll see
how that goes, backup tape is going to kickoff real soon, that will also
give some indication of problems if there are going to be any. Reclamation
happens later today, my guess is I'll see these too.

If any good comes out of this I'll let you know....you can count on the bad
too.
