I have recently taken over an ADSM installation and have need to add an
Exchange server to the list of servers we backup using ADSM.  Could I get
some feedback on the best performance settings through real-world experience
to enable me to get the most use out of my tapes.  I have available a Dell
Powervault 130T (4 DLT 7000's) and the following software:

All servers NT4 w/latest SP
Exchange Version 5.5 SP4
ADSM - Version 3, Release 1, Level 2.90
Exchange Connect Agent Version 1.1.1.01 (TDP)
Client Version 3 Release 1 Level 0.8

I understand from reading the list that in some circumstances that the tapes
have been marked "full" but only contain up to half their compressed
capacity.  I would like to avoid this if possible to fully utilise the tape
capacity as I have limited resources available to me.  I would imagine this
has something to do with the compression settings on either the exchange
server or ADSM server, so any configuration help would be great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
