This is only with one server.There are several servers with several clients
in this environment.

I think what should matter is db size that not only depends on no: of
clients,but also on amount of data changed
during backup.There is a formula in Tivoli Implementation Red Book.
I also use EMC Semmetrix where u don't require even to mirror/stripping.
Its has disk cache which brings back all the data back ,in case of disk
failure.With remote disk monitoring.
Secondly it has BCVs which can recover immediately.
Recovery over network is also possible.

This is what I know that's all.
