I have been trying to figure out why there is a great difference in size
between my offsite and onsite tape copies. Right now my onsite (357pool -
main domain) has approx 2,350 gigs of stored information. My copy pool tapes
(which are reclaimed daily - set to recl=55%) are sitting at
4,200gigs...Almost doubled!!!..All of this information is obtained when
entering command "q stg"
Is there a way to expire all the copy pool tapes, bring them back from
offsite (as scratches) and create a new set of offsite tapes within a
respectable amount of time? or is there a process that I am not performing
to fix this problem.
Current config:
NT 4.0 sp6a
TSM v4.1.3
3575 IBM Tape Library - 2 drives - 120 max tapes.
Thanks
