FYI, here are my results (using DLT7000 drives) on my three largest storage
pools...  NT_TAPE is (obviously?) all NT servers, GEN_TAPE is Unix servers,
and COLOC_TAPE is collocated Unix servers.  I found it interesting that we
seem to get similar results as 3590K ( I thought they were lower capacity):

tsm: ADSM>select avg(est_capacity_mb) from volumes where status='FULL' and
stgpool_name='NT_TAPE' and pct_utilized=100

Most of the backups are of Oracle DB on an AIX platform.  If I take into

tapes,
once full, I would have to say that the est. cap. is fairly accurate.
