All,
I was wondering if anyone has a Win2K server running TSM 4.1.3 using
9840
drives. We are planning on upgrading our NT4.0 TSM server to Win2K. Of
course we are testing this first on a test Win2K box.

We are having some problems getting the 9840's to be seen. We still
have
more testing so I don't want to say for sure but so far when we have only
the ADSMScsi device driver started the 9840's still show up as other devices
in device manager. TSM server utilities did show that the devices were
ECART and gave them ID's so it looked like they were OK but we are having
problems when we use them. If we use STK's own 9840 device drivers for
Win2K then they are seen as tape drives. I am still working on testing and
I am just curious if I can learn from anyone else who has already done this.
