3590 tape drive problem

Hi, I'm having some problems with my 3494 library. I have it connected to a
TSM 4.1.3 server WNT in a SAN environment shared with 5 more TSM 4.1.3
WNT/2000 servers. 
When I start the TSM server, everything is OK, the q drive command shows my
drive online=yes and the library ready fopr operations. But when I try to
perform any action that uses the drive i get an error message stating that the
drive is inaccesible to the library. 
I have tried shuting down the TSM server and the 3494 library and retry the
operation but the same errors are encountered.
I also stopped the TSM device driver and restarted it. I also deleted the
drive and redefined it. Retried the operation... the same error.
 
The onlyu thing that I haven't done is restart the entire server. I don't know
if it could be done today. Menawhile I would like to know if anybody found
this problem familiar.
