I didn't have too much of a problem installing TDP 3.1 for SAP R/3 but we've
definitely discovered its performance problems.  We are hoping 3.2 due out
the end of June fixes everything.

Have you had it fail utterly yet?  This past long weekend (for Canada) it
received "ANS1017E (RC-50)  Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure"
during an offline backup.  I've defaulted EXITONERROR to NO and coded
RETRY=75 and TCPWAIT=60 so that if *SM was down a backup could survive a *SM
service outage, but the backup never did restart the database. I only
received one connection failure message so I'm not sure whether a lower
RETRY value would have helped return the database to service.

We don't run the Admin Assistant, mainly because we have no NT boxes behind
our firewall.

Have you checked out known problems per release yet?
