Do a: reset bufpool
This will reset the negative and 3 other stats on this command. Then notice
what they start showing. I trhink the counter gets so big that it increments
the "negative" bit. Someone else had similar situation a week or two ago. If
your cahe hit Pct is still low as shown then you definitely need to increase
BUFPOOLSIZE to get this to aroung 98-99%.
I would say that your DB is too small if it is 88 Pct utilized, need to
increase. I forget specifics but I think some suggestions are not to be over
75% or maybe less in some cases. I am running a 13GB DB and it is 65-70% Util.

I was doing some statistic checking on my TSM 4.1.2 server and came

I noticed that my Cache Hit Pct. is way lower than what is recommended.
I have BUFPoolsize set to 196608. My server contains 2GB of memory
and lsps -a shows 192MB.
The thing I am most concerned about is the negative number on Total
Buffer Requests. I've been looking through the documentation and the
ADSM-L archive and haven't found any reference as to what a negative
number here represents. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
