Hi

I am having db and log on same disk but its EMC disk which are very fast and
costly.And mirroring is not
required because it maintains an internal cache to recover in case disk
fails.

Secondly I have had SSA disks where it was done as said below.I did not face
any problems.

I think it depends on Network , TSM server and client tuning parameters
also.

Finally I worked TSM Server on AIX ONLY.Clients on all varieties of them.

I feel u are ok as u are.
