With the 3.7 or 4.1 client you can specify the RESOURCEUTILIZATION option
that will do what you desire.  That option when set will open multiple
sessions with the TSM server.  The DOMAIN option is on a filesystem basis,
so if you want to backup both your c drive and your d drive you can specify
'DOMAIN C: D:'.  Then if your RESOURCEUTILIZATION is set to 4 or higher, you
will see multiple sessions open up with the TSM Server performing backups.

Marco - A client has only one Domain in effect, per the options file.

What you may want to do is either define multiple, detailed client
schedules in the server for incremental backup of differing object sets,
or have a time-based facility in the client (e.g., Unix cron) perform
multiple 'dsmc i ...' commands.
