There has been some discussion lately of the limitations imposed on TSM server 
machines when Win2K and RSM are involved.
The TSM server in this sort of implementation is very much an application 
"appliance" that is supposed to sit in the corner and run so provided the OS 
gives no trouble, the OS choice should be immaterial.

There seems to be a marketing opportunity here for a bundled OS and TSM server 
Combo to run on a low cost box..

Has anyone heard any whispers about TSM under AIX 5L on Intel? That would be a 
mighty combination .
