Hi Joerg,
Contact the support group in your area. I have seen a few other people on this
list experiencing the same symptoms. I seem to recall having found an APAR to
address the issue, but support can give you the definitive answer.

Subject: Volume has still SEGMENT references
Hi *SMers,
I experience a strange behaviour with 2 tapes. After reclaiming all the data,
they cannot be deleted from the storage pool. The following error is reported:
02/07/01 09:24:03 ANR2017I Administrator DUJNOUVE issued command:UPDATE
VOLUME 000017 access=unav
02/07/01 09:24:03 ANR9999D asvol.c(2733): Volume 000017 cannot be
deleted to SCRATCH - it still has SEGMENT references.
02/07/01 09:24:03 ANR9999D asvol.c(1626): Unknown result code (267)
while deleting a volume.
02/07/01 09:24:03 ANR2032E UPDATE VOLUME: Command failed - internal
server error detected.
02/07/01 09:24:03 ANR2017I Administrator DUJNOUVE issued command:
ROLLBACK
Since both are marked as "offsite" and an "update vol xxx access=readw"
returns the same error, I cannot run an "audit vol" on it.
Any ideas? Many thanks in advanced.
