I've installed TSM 4.1 on WINNT that's connected to an Exabyte 440. The
library was defined a SCSI. Device class was defined with devtype=8mm and
format=drive and mountlimit=3. Defined 3 Exabyte 8500 tape drives to the
library. I than linked the stgpool (8mm_pool) as copy destination(backup to
tape). The tape labelling and checkin goes well(tapes gets mounted..etc).
Whenever I try and run a backup to tape and then do query session, the
session state is always MEDIAWAIT. I than do a query session f=d and the
output is that the session is waiting for mount points.
Whay would tapes be mounted during labelling and checkin,........and not
during a backup??
