Geoffrey, it appears your problem is

01/29/2001 23:49:38 ANS1943E The operation is not supported: Downlevel
server version.

While you may have the latest client code, the downlevel TSM server code doesn't
support backup sets.

good luck!

lisa

Recently we upgraded a server to Win2k. The TSM client software I installed
was the newest. The backup last night has reported as failed as you can see
from the server activity log, and the rest of the logs. I'm not sure I
understand what the error messages below mean:
ANS1934E Backup set 'name' not found.
Explanation: The backup set name was not found on the server.
System Action: The backup set operation is not processed.
User Response: Verify that the backup set name is correct.
ANS1512E Scheduled event 'event' failed. Return code = value.
Explanation: The scheduled event did not complete successfully.
System Action: Scheduled event failed.
User Response: Ensure that your environment is set up correctly. If the
problem continues, see your system administrator to correct the problem.

Can anyone else decipher why this backup reports as failed when it looks
like it did run for some time?????
