Seems resonable. To economize on PCI-slots consider combo Gigabit ethernet/
FC-AL card. Connect the gigabit port to a 10/100/1000 switch if you have
several 100 MBit feeds.

In dsm.sys you specify to the client which IP address to send data to.
Could be separate from "main" interface.
Different clients could also have different interfaces if you have storage
performance to handle several concurrent sessions.
