Hello ADSM Gurus,

ADSM has expired some files that I need to restore.
query volume indicates that a volume that used to have
'full' status and 95 %util now has 0 %util and 'full'
status.
1) Does a lower %util but with 'full' status imply
that the space has not been reclaimed from that tape
yet?
2) Is there any other way of checking if space has
been reclaimed? (for example, would it show up in the
actlog)
3) If I restored the database to a point before the
expiration, would that help me to restore the files if
space hasn't been reclaimed yet?

I am running ADSM ver. 3.1.1.0 on AIX 4.2.1 (server &
client)
