The version we have is TDP however some of the docs still read ADSM Connect
Agent.   The backup and restore functions all work, the only problem is the
hanging part when the command is mistyped.

Are you use the ADSM Connect Agent for Lotus Notes?
When yes, it is not suitable for Lotus Domino server R5!
You need the TDP for Lotus Domino.
