Hi everyone,
We are using Solaris 2.6 backup client to back up our unix servers. Every
week or so after having started the dsm scheduler the scheduler crops out
saying that "cannot open the dsmsched.log file".
I have set the schedretention to 2 days so the file size stay small....
I have also tried to set a cronjob for every other day to delete this file
and recreate it. But the scheduler still dies on me every week or so and
till I restart the scheduler manually again this error keeps coming every
time the server is queried for a schedule.
Has anyone come across this? I have searched extensively without
success....
Any help on this would be appreciated.
